I work as a Ward Livestock Production Officer with the Nakuru County Government.In my extension work I support smallholder farmers through training and community engagement.I help the farmers improve their dairy and livestock production through sustainable and climate smart farming practices.My work contributes to improved productivity,food security and improved livelihoods.

I am a veterinary paraprofessional and livestock production extensionist and livestock production extensionist with the department of agriculture, livestock, fisheries and veterinary services in Nakuru County.My journey into livestock extension was driven by my passion for animals and my passion to work alongside smallholder farmers and contribute towards improving their livelihoods to through, providing extension services, training and providing practical solutions to challenges affecting livestock production.Working directly with farmers has strengthened my passion for sustainable agriculture and food systems transformation.I am motivated too use the knowledge, networks and experiences gained through the fellowship to contribute to a more sustainable, inclusive and food secure future for the farmers and the community at large.
