Christine Karanja is an SDG 17 and LNOB advocate, two-time UNAI Millennium Fellow, SDG Academy alumna and 2026 Africa Food Fellow (Cohort 6), with a background in Journalism and Development Communication. She serves as National Chapter Lead, World Food Forum (WFF) Kenya, advancing youth engagement, innovation and food-systems policy. She has served as an MGCY Global Youth Taskforce Member (SENA) and 2025/2026 Kenya UN Joint Programme Youth Advisory Board Member, and contributes to the CAADP NSA–YAPI Initiative Committee, Right to Food Coalition–Kenya Legal & Policy Working Group, and Youth Parliamentarians Joint Caucus. She has served on the International Youth Day 2025 and 2026 Kenya Youth in Agrifood Systems Summit Planning Committees
