Production Manager at Emrok Tea Factory

Private sector (MSME) / National & regional NGO / Associations & networks

I work as a Production Manager to enhance food safety, quality and compliance in the food production process. I also run Taai Farms, where we promote space-efficient and climate-smart agriculture to improve food security and create opportunities for women and youth. Through my work, I want to connect food quality, sustainable agriculture and community development.

Growing up in the rural community where agriculture is an important part of everyday life and the main source of food and income for households, I witnessed the challenges that farmers face, including limited access to markets, post-harvest losses, limited resources and the effects of climate change, these experiences shaped my interest in food and agriculture and I resolved to find ways of improving food production, processing and access.
