Founder of TulimeZed, a digital marketplace improving access to machinery-on-hire for farmers and businesses, with a growing focus on resilient and inclusive food systems.

I am a Zambian Agricultural Economist whose interest in agriculture began with seeing the realities of smallholder farming firsthand, including watching my grandmother undertake demanding farm work largely by hand. That experience stayed with me and shaped my interest in how agriculture can improve livelihoods. Over the past decade, I have built my career in agribusiness development, agricultural planning, irrigation and mechanisation. I currently serve as a Senior Agribusiness Manager at the Zambia Correctional Service, where I contribute to the planning and development of large-scale agricultural operations and initiatives aimed at strengthening food production. I am also the Founder of TulimeZed, a digital marketplace connecting farmers and businesses with machinery owners offering equipment on hire. It grew from my belief that farmers should not necessarily have to own expensive machinery to benefit from mechanisation. Reliable access can itself unlock productivity and opportunity. My long-term interest is in building more resilient and inclusive food systems by improving access to productive assets, particularly mechanisation and irrigation, and by creating stronger connections between farmers, businesses, finance and public institutions.
