I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at ICIPE (International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology) in Nairobi, Kenya, where I work on the FASA Project, a NORAD-funded partnership between ICIPE and WorldFish. My research sits at the intersection of aquaculture nutrition and sustainable feed innovation, developing and validating aquafeed

I hold a PhD in Aquaculture, and my training has taken me deep into the technical worlds of aquaculture nutrition, feed formulation, and system design. Over the course of my career, I've authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, seven books published with CRC Press and Elsevier, and hold six patents in aquafeed ingredient processing, work that reflects a sustained focus on turning research into practical, scalable solutions for fish farmers.
